Intruder Alarms
Our Intruder Alarms can be integrated to other systems for example; CCTV, Perimeter, Access Control and Fire.
Bells only
Simply put should the alarm be activated, bells will ring as a deterrent, however it is worth noting police forces will not respond to a ringing bell unless they have been made aware of an offence in progress.
(Domestic monitored systems can cost as little as £8.00 per week payable interest free via standing order)
Monitored Alarm Systems
Insurance companies require 24 hour, 365 days a year monitored systems.
In order that we comply with current regulations and minimise false alarms thus avoid the risk of losing police response monitored systems must be either:-
- Sequential - (Two detectors are activated before police are notified)
- Audio or Visual verification
Should your insurance company insist on a monitored system, we can offer;
- BT RedCare Systems - Single line of communication via BT line, should the BT line be cut the monitoring centre will be alerted and call keyholders immediately.
- DualCom GPRS - Dual signaling. (GPRS and telephone) Should one line of communication fail, the other line of communication will automatically be used.
Galaxy Gold
For a minimal cost Focus can install Galaxy Gold onto your existing Galaxy panel to enable off-site trouble shooting for example;-
Should an activation occur our engineers can look into the control panel via a secure remote PC and advise the keyholder over the phone the reason for activation and will advise of correct course of action.
(On many occasions our engineer can simply omit a zone and then do a full set over the PC, which prevents an engineer and keyholder having to visit the site, thus preventing charges relating to a engineer site visit.)
Galaxy Gold can also provide a daily download of all your alarm systems activations. (incur a small admin cost)
